Summary: U.S Marine Blaine Anderson returns from his third tour in Iraq with the single thing that he credits with keeping him alive- a photograph he found of a man and a little girl that he doesn’t even know. When he learns his name is Kurt Hummel and finds out where he lives, Blaine ends up on his doorstep and takes a job at his family-run local kennel. Despite Kurt’s initial mistrust and the complication in his life in the form of his Sheriff ex husband Sebastian Smythe, a romance develops between them, giving Blaine hope that Kurt could be much more than his good luck charm.
